Belite Bio Announces FDA Granting of Breakthrough Therapy Designation for Tinlarebant for the Treatment of Stargardt Disease

(NASDAQ: BLTE), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical drug development company focused on advancing novel therapeutics targeting degenerative retinal diseases that have significant unmet medical needs, today announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has granted Breakthrough Therapy Designation for Tinlarebant for the treatment of Stargardt disease (STGD1) based on the previously reported interim data from the ongoing Phase 3 DRAGON trial. There are currently no approved treatments for STGD1.
